Subsoil – bulk bags

The key to all of Joel’s pond creations is the use of subsoil, the nutrient poor soil you find when digging down below the initial topsoil layer.  This soil is perfect for creating wildlife ponds and also for wildflower meadows, that prefer poor soil quality.

You may find plenty to use when digging out your pond, however if you are digging a sizeable pond and need more, we have teamed up with an expert supplier who specialise in various types of subsoil and can deliver it kerbside to your home.
