Musk Mallow (Malva moschata) is a dreamy native wildflower with pale pink, open-faced blooms that seem to glow in soft light. Flowering from July through to September, it’s a magnet for bees, hoverflies, and moths - providing both nectar and shelter in wildflower borders, verges, and garden edges.
This is a plant that thrives in sunny, low-maintenance spaces. Its finely cut foliage and gentle, mounding form give a relaxed, meadow-like quality to borders, while its long flowering season ensures a reliable nectar source deep into summer.
Joel says...
“Musk Mallow is a gentle favourite of mine - graceful, long-lasting, and full of wildlife value. It’s brilliant for sunny spots where you want something soft and natural-looking, and it just keeps giving right through the warmer months. Plus, it’s peat-free, which means it’s doing good below the surface too.”
🌱 Why Choose Peat-Free?
Our Musk Mallow is grown in 9cm pots and Super Plugs using completely peat-free compost. By choosing peat-free, you're helping to safeguard the UK’s vital peatlands — protecting carbon stores and the rare insects, plants, and birds that depend on them.
