Holly (Ilex aquifolium ‘Alaska’) – Wildlife-Friendly Evergreen Shrub

Holly (Ilex aquifolium ‘Alaska’) is a hardy, upright holly variety treasured for its classic, deep-green glossy leaves and abundant bright red berries (on female plants) that light up the garden through winter.

This variety has a neat, bushy habit and tends to bear good berry crops even without a dedicated male pollinator nearby — making it an excellent choice for smaller spaces or hedging where reliable winter food for birds is essential.

Joel says: “‘Alaska’ is a brilliant holly — tough, tidy and dependable with plenty of winter berries for the birds. Great shelter, low maintenance and always looks smart."  Supplied in a 7 litre container.
