Hemp Agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum) is a tall, moisture-loving native wildflower with clusters of soft pink, fluffy flowers that bloom from July to September. It’s absolutely beloved by butterflies, hoverflies, bees, and even moths - making it one of the best late-season nectar plants for wildlife gardens.
Often found along stream banks, wet meadows, and pond edges, Hemp Agrimony thrives in damp soils and adds brilliant structure and movement to borders. Its upright habit and long flowering period make it a brilliant companion to other moisture-loving species like Purple Loosestrife, Meadowsweet, and Yellow Flag Iris.
Joel says...
“Hemp Agrimony is a real magnet for pollinators - especially butterflies. If you want to keep insect activity high right through late summer, this is one of the best plants you can add near a pond or damp area. Plus, it grows tall without being thuggish, and of course it’s peat-free.”
Why Choose Peat-Free?
Our Hemp Agrimony is grown in both 9cm pots and Super Plugs using fully peat-free compost. Supporting peat-free growing helps protect the UK’s irreplaceable peat bogs - vital carbon stores and home to countless rare species.
Available in:
• 9cm Pots – sold individually
• Peat-Free Super Plugs – available in 8, 16, 32, or 48-packs
Want to mix it up? Add Hemp Agrimony to your Super Plug Bespoke Pack - choose up to four species per tray. Click here to customise your pack.
