Common Restharrow ‘Ononis repens’

A good meadow plant with pink pea flowers on tough stems arresting the harrow. Ononis repens or common restharrow is found by the shore and is also common in dry hill pastures in chalk or limestone areas. It is a prostrate woody perennial with small oval leaves. It is a low-growing, creeping plant with clusters of small, pink flowers that can be seen from July to September.
