Blackcurrant (Ribes Blackbells®) - Wildlife-Friendly Fruit Bush

Blackcurrant (Ribes Blackbells®) is a modern blackcurrant variety named for its distinctive clusters of large berries that hang like little bells along the branches. The fruit is sweet, juicy and perfect for eating fresh, making jam or freezing for later.

In spring, small greenish flowers provide an early food source for bees and pollinators. The bush itself has a strong, upright habit with good disease resistance and reliable cropping, even in cooler UK gardens.

Joel says: “‘Blackbells®’ is a brilliant blackcurrant – big sweet berries in clusters like little bells and lovely flowers for the bees.” Supplied in a 3 litre container.
