Agastache ‘Blackadder’ is a spectacular, long-flowering perennial with exceptional value for pollinating insects.
From early summer through to autumn, tall spikes of deep violet-blue flowers rise above aromatic foliage, releasing a gentle aniseed scent when brushed past. Bees, butterflies and hoverflies are drawn to it in huge numbers, often queuing along the flower spikes on warm days.
Despite its elegant appearance, ‘Blackadder’ is a tough and resilient plant. It thrives in sunny, well-drained soil, copes well with dry conditions once established, and is ideal for wildlife borders, meadow-style planting and naturalistic gardens.
A true pollinator powerhouse that earns its place many times over.
